Apartment Movers in Broomfield, CO

Condo, Loft, And Apartment Moving Across The Front Range

Apartment moves can take longer than expected, depending on the building’s logistics. Elevators, loading zones, stairs, long carries, and scheduled elevator access can all add time and complexity. Samurai Movers handles condo, loft, and apartment moving throughout Broomfield, Denver, Louisville, Lafayette, Erie, Boulder, Westminster, Thornton, and surrounding areas, with experience navigating the access challenges that often come with multi-unit buildings.

Stairs, Elevators, and Narrow Hallways

Third-floor walk-ups, corner turns that defeat a box spring, hallways that will not take a dolly sideways: our crews work these every week. They carry rather than drag, protect corners and door jambs on the route, and break down bed frames instead of wrestling them down a stairwell. Send us the floor number and whether an elevator exists, because that one detail changes the crew size we recommend.

What Your Building Will Ask For

A certificate of insurance naming the property management company
An elevator reservation for a set block of time
A loading dock or loading zone slot
Move-in and move-out hours, often weekdays only
Protective coverings in elevators and common areas

Ask your leasing office for these requirements as soon as your date is set, then forward them to us. We issue the certificate and work within the window.

What We Handle on an Apartment Move

Furniture wrapping, disassembly and reassembly, loading, transport, and placement in the new unit come standard. Add packing if you want the kitchen and the closets handled too. Balcony furniture, bikes, and storage cage contents come along, so mention them when you build the inventory, since crews plan trips based on what they know.

Moves Within the Same Building or Complex

Changing units in the same complex is common, and it doesn’t need a truck when the route stays indoors. A crew comes out, moves everything from unit to unit at our hourly rate, and leaves. One customer moved two doors down inside their complex with a labor-only crew and no truck involved.

Pricing an Apartment Move

Local apartment moves are billed hourly with a two-hour minimum. The hours depend on the number of floors, elevator access, the distance from the door to where the truck can legally park, and how much packing is finished when we arrive. A studio with elevator access and a dock often finishes inside the minimum. A one-bedroom on the third floor of a walk-up with street-only parking takes longer, and we tell you that when we quote, not when we invoice.

I requested a quote last minute on Saturday to get a move scheduled for Sunday. They were very accommodating and was able to get a move scheduled. The movers themselves were professional and worked very efficiently. I would definitely recommend them again.

Awesome job from these guys! Andrew and Henry showed up on time and were very friendly and polite. They made sure to wrap up fragile items and were very careful with everything, including a glass top desk. We moved from a third floor with no elevators to a second floor and they didn’t even hesitate or slow down. Highly recommend Samurai Movers!

Andrew Malousek

I was truly impressed with the movers who showed up for my moving job. They were friendly, moved *fast* and were very conscientious and careful. I highly recommend this company to anyone who needs moving help!

Moving Presence

The best moving experience from submitting a request with a call, bid within one hour! Very personable, available, professional - keeping in touch up until move date to make sure inventory was accurate. Responded quickly to texts and phone calls The day of move Victor and Andrew showed up on time. They were very quick while showing care for my items. They knew exactly how to move safely and efficiently. They stored my items following my request to have access to a few bins with the labels in view! So helpful!! The bid matched final charges. I can’t recommend them highly enough!! They are a local company and it makes a big difference in care and accessibility. I will definitely use them again!

Probably a 4.5 LOL Polite, on time and very efficient. I used labor only without packing or a truck because I only moved two doors down in my complex Only two issues one of which was not Vincent or Angel’s fault - towards the end of the move a dolly wheel must have caught a pebble and locked up which left a wheel mark on the carpet. Haven’t tried to clean it yet but probably no big deal since it’s superficial, top of carpet fibers A couple of scratches on the side of a bookcase, probably should have had a pad between it and the dolly - but it’s inexpensive MDF and scratches easily anyway Heads up that the move time begins when truck leaves their home base - which I knew and is in the contract I’d use Samurai Movers again

Update: They did it again! Andrew and Victor, did a wonderful job helping me move once again. They ended up getting to my new home before me and started unpacking things by the front door to save time. Samurai movers will always be my “go-to” moving company. They have now helped me through 3 different moves and every single time it was well worth the money spent to have them help me. Thanks again guys! Andrew and Henry did a fantastic job moving us into a larger home for our family. Upon arrival they jumped right in with us and started moving things immediately. They were kind, respectful, and detail oriented. I also want to give a shout out to Bryant who helped me book my move with ease as I had trouble finding time to call. He was patient with me and accommodated by using text rather than having me find a time to call. Overall, I highly recommend this company to anyone who needs help moving or maybe just needs a break from heavy lifting. These guys are worth every penny spent and more. Thank you Samurai Movers!-again!

If you need to move, you should choose this company!! It’s not often that a company surprises you in a good way. It was seamless from start to finish. They moved my elderly parents and were even patient and helpful with them. Definitely a 10!!

Karmon Baker

These guys moved our furniture with care and speed...quite conscientious for sure! Definitely recommend them. Thanks Andrew and crew

FAQs

Can you provide a certificate of insurance for my apartment building?

Yes. We can provide a certificate of insurance if your apartment building or property manager requires it. Please allow approximately 1–2 business days for us to provide the document.

Do you charge extra for stairs, elevators, or long carries?

We don’t charge extra for one flight of stairs, elevators, or long carries. A stair surcharge applies for two or more flights. Keep in mind that elevators and long carries can add time to your move, which is reflected in your hourly total.

Where should the moving truck park at my apartment?

Ideally, park the truck in a designated loading area, near a loading dock, or as close as possible to the freight elevator or building entrance, depending on the property’s rules and available access.

Is there a minimum for apartment moves?

Yes. We have a 2.5-hour minimum for apartment moves.

Can you move me on a weekend?

Yes. We regularly handle weekend moves. Saturdays are typically our highest-demand day, and Sundays have more limited crew capacity. Weekend rates are higher than Monday through Thursday, so we recommend booking farther in advance when possible.
