Moving Labor Services in Broomfield

Moving Labor by the Hour When You Already Have the Truck

Samurai Movers provides labor-only moving services in Broomfield, CO, for people who already have the truck, the POD, or the storage unit and only need movers to do the lifting. You book trained movers by the hour; they load or unload whatever you have, and you keep control of the vehicle and the timeline. Same standard we bring to a full-service move, without the truck.

Load and Unload PODs, Containers, and Rental Trucks

Renting a U-Haul or booking a POD saves money right up until you are staring at an empty truck with a garage full of furniture. Our movers load and unload rental trucks, portable containers, PODs, freight trailers, and storage units across Broomfield. On the loading end, we pack the load tight so nothing shifts on the drive. On the unloading end, we bring items in and set them down room by room, so you don’t have to carry boxes twice.

Move Heavy Furniture and Clear Out Storage Without Hauling Anything

Plenty of labor jobs never involve a truck at all. It might be a sectional that will not fit down the stairs, a treadmill headed to the basement, or a storage unit that has to be emptied before the first of the month. We handle in-home moves from room to room, furniture shuffles before painting or new flooring, appliance moves, and storage unit loading and clear-outs. You decide what moves. We lift it, carry it, and put it where you point.

What Labor-Only Service Covers

Loading rental trucks, PODs, containers, and trailers
Unloading and placing items room by room
Wrapping and padding furniture before it is lifted
Packing and securing loads so nothing shifts in transit
Moving furniture between rooms, floors, or offices
Loading, unloading, and clearing out storage units
Carrying heavy and awkward items up and down stairs

If you want the packing handled too, that is a separate service, and we can quote both on the same job.

Trained Movers, Not Day Labor

Labor-only does not mean a lower standard. You get the same licensed and insured movers we send on full-service jobs: people who pad furniture before they lift it and know how to get a couch down a stairwell without taking the drywall with it. They arrive ready to work, work clean, and finish on time.

That discipline is the whole point of hiring movers by the hour instead of finding hands online. A cheap load that shifts on I-25 stops being cheap the moment a dresser lands on your television.

I requested a quote last minute on Saturday to get a move scheduled for Sunday. They were very accommodating and was able to get a move scheduled. The movers themselves were professional and worked very efficiently. I would definitely recommend them again.

Awesome job from these guys! Andrew and Henry showed up on time and were very friendly and polite. They made sure to wrap up fragile items and were very careful with everything, including a glass top desk. We moved from a third floor with no elevators to a second floor and they didn’t even hesitate or slow down. Highly recommend Samurai Movers!

I was truly impressed with the movers who showed up for my moving job. They were friendly, moved *fast* and were very conscientious and careful. I highly recommend this company to anyone who needs moving help!

Moving Presence

The best moving experience from submitting a request with a call, bid within one hour! Very personable, available, professional - keeping in touch up until move date to make sure inventory was accurate. Responded quickly to texts and phone calls The day of move Victor and Andrew showed up on time. They were very quick while showing care for my items. They knew exactly how to move safely and efficiently. They stored my items following my request to have access to a few bins with the labels in view! So helpful!! The bid matched final charges. I can’t recommend them highly enough!! They are a local company and it makes a big difference in care and accessibility. I will definitely use them again!

Probably a 4.5 LOL Polite, on time and very efficient. I used labor only without packing or a truck because I only moved two doors down in my complex Only two issues one of which was not Vincent or Angel’s fault - towards the end of the move a dolly wheel must have caught a pebble and locked up which left a wheel mark on the carpet. Haven’t tried to clean it yet but probably no big deal since it’s superficial, top of carpet fibers A couple of scratches on the side of a bookcase, probably should have had a pad between it and the dolly - but it’s inexpensive MDF and scratches easily anyway Heads up that the move time begins when truck leaves their home base - which I knew and is in the contract I’d use Samurai Movers again

Update: They did it again! Andrew and Victor, did a wonderful job helping me move once again. They ended up getting to my new home before me and started unpacking things by the front door to save time. Samurai movers will always be my “go-to” moving company. They have now helped me through 3 different moves and every single time it was well worth the money spent to have them help me. Thanks again guys! Andrew and Henry did a fantastic job moving us into a larger home for our family. Upon arrival they jumped right in with us and started moving things immediately. They were kind, respectful, and detail oriented. I also want to give a shout out to Bryant who helped me book my move with ease as I had trouble finding time to call. He was patient with me and accommodated by using text rather than having me find a time to call. Overall, I highly recommend this company to anyone who needs help moving or maybe just needs a break from heavy lifting. These guys are worth every penny spent and more. Thank you Samurai Movers!-again!

If you need to move, you should choose this company!! It’s not often that a company surprises you in a good way. It was seamless from start to finish. They moved my elderly parents and were even patient and helpful with them. Definitely a 10!!

FAQs

Can you help load or unload a rental truck, POD, or storage container?

Yes. Our crew can help load or unload rental trucks, PODs, and storage containers, whether you need help with one side of the move or both.

Can you move furniture or heavy items within my home or business?

Yes. We can help with internal moves within a home or business, including moving furniture or other heavy items from one area to another. We can also focus only on the heavier items if that’s the main help you need.

How many movers will I need for labor-only moving?

The number of movers needed depends on the job’s scope and size, what needs to be accomplished, and the items being moved. Larger jobs or particularly heavy or unique items may require additional crew members to complete the work safely and efficiently.

How is labor-only moving priced?

Labor-only moving is priced based on the number of crew members assigned and the amount of time needed. Because the service does not include transporting your belongings in our moving truck, there is no truck fee.
