Leadership Built on Integrity, Precision, & Vision
Our Founder
Forest Cannon earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting with an emphasis in finance from Western State University in 2009. After several years in accounting, he realized his true calling wasn’t behind a desk. Driven by an entrepreneurial spirit and a desire to build something of his own, Forest turned to the moving industry, a field where he already had more than a decade of hands-on experience.
That experience, combined with his business background, gave him the tools to create Samurai Movers. Forest understands that running a successful company takes more than technical skills. It requires teamwork, leadership, and a commitment to serving people with integrity. Under his guidance, Samurai Movers has grown steadily, earning a reputation for reliability and care across the Front Range.
When he is not leading the team, Forest enjoys weightlifting, jiu-jitsu, snowboarding, and dancing.
Backed by 5-Star Reviews That Speak for Themselves
See why so many people choose us for stress-free residential and commercial moves.
Angel, Albert, and Andrew did an exceptional job for us on our move. They arrived on time, were very careful with all of our belongings, and they were receptive to our thoughts. They did the work efficiently with a great attitude.
I requested a quote last minute on Saturday to get a move scheduled for Sunday. They were very accommodating and was able to get a move scheduled. The movers themselves were professional and worked very efficiently. I would definitely recommend them again.
Thank you to Angel and Andrew for their efficient, careful, and friendly service! They moved everything so quickly while taking great care to carefully wrap and protect our belongings. They were also very friendly and flexible throughout the entire move, which made the process so much easier. We really appreciate their hard work and would definitely recommend Samurai Movers!
Samurai Movers were amazing! They worked tirelessly on our move, all while keeping in good humor. Thank you!
I would give 6 stars for Samurai movers! They are always careful and professional. Easy and expert estimating to assure right size truck and moving professionals. Forest, Henry and Tyler were magicians carefully moving furniture into a very challenging space. Thank you so much.
Awesome job from these guys! Andrew and Henry showed up on time and were very friendly and polite. They made sure to wrap up fragile items and were very careful with everything, including a glass top desk. We moved from a third floor with no elevators to a second floor and they didn’t even hesitate or slow down. Highly recommend Samurai Movers!
I was truly impressed with the movers who showed up for my moving job. They were friendly, moved *fast* and were very conscientious and careful. I highly recommend this company to anyone who needs moving help!
The best moving experience from submitting a request with a call, bid within one hour! Very personable, available, professional - keeping in touch up until move date to make sure inventory was accurate. Responded quickly to texts and phone calls The day of move Victor and Andrew showed up on time. They were very quick while showing care for my items. They knew exactly how to move safely and efficiently. They stored my items following my request to have access to a few bins with the labels in view! So helpful!! The bid matched final charges. I can’t recommend them highly enough!! They are a local company and it makes a big difference in care and accessibility. I will definitely use them again!
Anwar, Henry, and Andrew were amazing on my move today! Quick, efficient, on time and very respectful!! I highly recommend Samurai Movers!
Quick, easy and affordable. Samurai Movers is where it's at! Super friendly and helpful moving team as well!
Probably a 4.5 LOL Polite, on time and very efficient. I used labor only without packing or a truck because I only moved two doors down in my complex Only two issues one of which was not Vincent or Angel’s fault - towards the end of the move a dolly wheel must have caught a pebble and locked up which left a wheel mark on the carpet. Haven’t tried to clean it yet but probably no big deal since it’s superficial, top of carpet fibers A couple of scratches on the side of a bookcase, probably should have had a pad between it and the dolly - but it’s inexpensive MDF and scratches easily anyway Heads up that the move time begins when truck leaves their home base - which I knew and is in the contract I’d use Samurai Movers again
Update: They did it again! Andrew and Victor, did a wonderful job helping me move once again. They ended up getting to my new home before me and started unpacking things by the front door to save time. Samurai movers will always be my “go-to” moving company. They have now helped me through 3 different moves and every single time it was well worth the money spent to have them help me. Thanks again guys! Andrew and Henry did a fantastic job moving us into a larger home for our family. Upon arrival they jumped right in with us and started moving things immediately. They were kind, respectful, and detail oriented. I also want to give a shout out to Bryant who helped me book my move with ease as I had trouble finding time to call. He was patient with me and accommodated by using text rather than having me find a time to call. Overall, I highly recommend this company to anyone who needs help moving or maybe just needs a break from heavy lifting. These guys are worth every penny spent and more. Thank you Samurai Movers!-again!
If you need to move, you should choose this company!! It’s not often that a company surprises you in a good way. It was seamless from start to finish. They moved my elderly parents and were even patient and helpful with them. Definitely a 10!!
These guys moved our furniture with care and speed...quite conscientious for sure! Definitely recommend them. Thanks Andrew and crew
