What Our Broomfield Packing Service Includes

Tell us what you want packed, and we’ll price that scope before anyone touches a box. A standard packing job covers:

Packing whole homes, selected rooms, or fragile items only
Supplying cartons, packing paper, tape, and moving pads
Wrapping furniture, appliances, and mattresses in pads and stretch wrap
Boxing dishes, glassware, and small kitchen items
Padding electronics, artwork, mirrors, and antiques
Labeling every carton by room and marking the fragile ones
Loading the packed cartons onto the truck on move day

You are not buying supplies ahead of time, and you are not guessing how many boxes a three-bedroom house takes. We bring more than the job needs, and we only charge for what gets used.

Expert Packing for Breakables and Valuables

Dishes, stemware, antiques, electronics, and framed art get packed separately from everything else. Kitchen breakables go into dish packs and double-wall cartons with paper between every layer. Mirrors and artwork get padded on both faces before they go in a box. Anything that will not fit a standard carton, like a marble tabletop or a glass cabinet door, gets wrapped and padded on its own rather than forced into a box that is the wrong shape.

This is the part of packing people get wrong when they do it themselves. A plate wrapped in a bath towel survives the stairs and does not survive the drive.

Full-Service or Partial Packing, Your Choice

Full-service packing means we pack everything, and you don’t touch a box.

Partial packing means you handle the easy rooms and we take the kitchen, the china cabinet, the garage, or whatever you would rather not deal with.

Fragile-only is a third option. You box the linens and the clothes, and we handle anything that breaks.

Most Broomfield customers land on partial. The kitchen and the garage are where the hours disappear, and those are the two rooms worth handing off.

Packed by the Movers Who Load the Truck

The movers who pack your house are the same movers who load it. That changes how we pack.

Boxes get filled to weights a person can actually carry. Cartons are sized to stack tight in the truck so nothing shifts on the drive down Midway or out to I-25. Fragile cartons are marked on the sides the loaders will be looking at, not on the top where nobody sees them. Nothing gets packed in a way that makes the rest of the move harder, because we are the ones who have to move it.

I requested a quote last minute on Saturday to get a move scheduled for Sunday. They were very accommodating and was able to get a move scheduled. The movers themselves were professional and worked very efficiently. I would definitely recommend them again.

Awesome job from these guys! Andrew and Henry showed up on time and were very friendly and polite. They made sure to wrap up fragile items and were very careful with everything, including a glass top desk. We moved from a third floor with no elevators to a second floor and they didn’t even hesitate or slow down. Highly recommend Samurai Movers!

Andrew Malousek

I was truly impressed with the movers who showed up for my moving job. They were friendly, moved *fast* and were very conscientious and careful. I highly recommend this company to anyone who needs moving help!

Moving Presence

The best moving experience from submitting a request with a call, bid within one hour! Very personable, available, professional - keeping in touch up until move date to make sure inventory was accurate. Responded quickly to texts and phone calls The day of move Victor and Andrew showed up on time. They were very quick while showing care for my items. They knew exactly how to move safely and efficiently. They stored my items following my request to have access to a few bins with the labels in view! So helpful!! The bid matched final charges. I can’t recommend them highly enough!! They are a local company and it makes a big difference in care and accessibility. I will definitely use them again!

Quick, easy and affordable. Samurai Movers is where it's at! Super friendly and helpful moving team as well!

Keith Garcia

Probably a 4.5 LOL Polite, on time and very efficient. I used labor only without packing or a truck because I only moved two doors down in my complex Only two issues one of which was not Vincent or Angel’s fault - towards the end of the move a dolly wheel must have caught a pebble and locked up which left a wheel mark on the carpet. Haven’t tried to clean it yet but probably no big deal since it’s superficial, top of carpet fibers A couple of scratches on the side of a bookcase, probably should have had a pad between it and the dolly - but it’s inexpensive MDF and scratches easily anyway Heads up that the move time begins when truck leaves their home base - which I knew and is in the contract I’d use Samurai Movers again

Update: They did it again! Andrew and Victor, did a wonderful job helping me move once again. They ended up getting to my new home before me and started unpacking things by the front door to save time. Samurai movers will always be my “go-to” moving company. They have now helped me through 3 different moves and every single time it was well worth the money spent to have them help me. Thanks again guys! Andrew and Henry did a fantastic job moving us into a larger home for our family. Upon arrival they jumped right in with us and started moving things immediately. They were kind, respectful, and detail oriented. I also want to give a shout out to Bryant who helped me book my move with ease as I had trouble finding time to call. He was patient with me and accommodated by using text rather than having me find a time to call. Overall, I highly recommend this company to anyone who needs help moving or maybe just needs a break from heavy lifting. These guys are worth every penny spent and more. Thank you Samurai Movers!-again!

If you need to move, you should choose this company!! It’s not often that a company surprises you in a good way. It was seamless from start to finish. They moved my elderly parents and were even patient and helpful with them. Definitely a 10!!

Where We Pack Across Broomfield and the Front Range

We are based at 1275 W Midway Blvd, so most packing jobs in Broomfield are a short drive from the office. We pack single-family homes in Anthem Ranch, Wildgrass, and The Broadlands; apartments and condos around Arista and Interlocken; and older homes in original Broomfield, where the stairs are narrower than the floor plan suggests.

Building access changes how we stage cartons. When you call, mention elevator reservations, loading dock windows, and HOA rules about truck parking, because they affect how long packing day runs.

We also offer packing across the rest of our service area, including Lafayette, Louisville, Westminster, and Erie, and throughout the wider Denver metro and Front Range.

FAQs

How far in advance should I schedule packing services?

We typically recommend scheduling packing services one to two days before your move. If you’re booking both packing and moving with us, please reach out at least a week in advance, especially near the end of the month or during busier moving seasons. Shorter-notice scheduling may still be available depending on availability.

Do you provide boxes and packing materials?

Yes. We can provide the boxes and packing materials needed for your move. Beforehand, we’ll ask a few questions to understand the scope of the packing, whether it’s a partial pack or the entire home, so we can better estimate the materials and time needed.

How long does professional packing usually take?

The time needed depends on the size and scope of the packing, whether it’s a partial or full-home pack, and how many team members are assigned. Once we know what needs to be packed, we can provide a more accurate time estimate.

Are there any items you cannot pack?

Yes. We generally do not pack refrigerated or frozen food. We can usually pack pantry items such as canned goods, spices, and dry food. We also recommend that customers keep valuables and personal items such as jewelry, wallets, phones, medications, and important documents with them.

Can you pack and move everything on the same day?

For smaller moves, we can sometimes pack and move everything on the same day. In most cases, however, we recommend completing the packing one or two days beforehand. Moving days can already be busy and somewhat unpredictable, so separating the packing from the move generally helps the day go more smoothly.

Can you pack only certain rooms or items?

Yes. We offer partial and full-home packing, so we can pack only certain rooms or specific items. Let us know what you’d like packed, and we’ll estimate the materials and time needed.
