How the Drive From Broomfield Shapes Your Arvada Price

Samurai Movers is a licensed, insured Arvada moving company based in Broomfield, just north of the city. We handle residential moves, office and retail relocations, packing, and labor-only jobs across Arvada, from Olde Town and the older neighborhoods east of Wadsworth to Ralston Valley and the new communities near Highway 93.

Local moves are usually priced hourly, and Arvada is wide. It stretches from the Westminster and Denver edges west to the foothills. A move in east Arvada starts close to our base, while a move in Candelas or Leyden Rock takes a longer cross-town drive. We plan that route so the drive time stays predictable.

Arvada Is Several Cities in One for Movers

Arvada has grown west for decades, and the housing shows it. The east side holds mid-century homes, and the west side holds some of the newest subdivisions in the metro. Each part asks for a different plan.

Central and East Arvada

Established neighborhoods of 1960s and 1970s brick ranches and multi-level homes, often on larger lots with mature trees. Pressure points include split landings, finished basements, and long walks lined with landscaping. Heavy basement pieces, like gun safes and pool tables, need a stair plan before the day.

Ralston Valley and Northwest Arvada

Mostly two-story homes with attached garages and good truck access. Watch for curving streets and cul-de-sacs with cars on both sides, where a full-size truck needs room to turn around.

Candelas, Leyden Rock, and Whisper Creek

Master-planned communities on the far west side near Highway 93 and North Table Mountain, with newer homes, wide streets, and firm HOA rules. Plan around those rules on truck parking and move hours, and around closing dates on new construction, which can shift.

Lake Arbor and the Westminster Line

On the northeast side, Lake Arbor and nearby neighborhoods mix established single-family homes on larger lots with townhomes and condos. Moves across the line into Westminster stay short, local jobs.
